Our "company gameboard"
Our Company Board Game
Imagine that our company is like a game. Each of us has an important role to play, and the goal is simple: we want to do good for our customers, for ourselves and for society.
So, by playing as a team and taking advantage of each other's skills, we can achieve great things and create a positive impact.
Board Game played well
The aim of the game:
Create a positive impact. We want to improve people's lives and be successful at the same time. To do this, we need to:
- Collect all the money they owe us.
- Receiving that money on time.
- Doing this while making everyone happy: customers, suppliers, partners and employees.
- Use as few resources as possible, i.e. avoid waste.
- Playing the game honestly and correctly.
1. How can we win?
To win, we all have to do our bit. Let's take care of our tasks, work as a team, and follow these 5 rules. When we achieve these goals, we're winning the game.
2. Who are the players ?
The players are us, the internal team, and also our customers, suppliers and partners.
Within the company, we have many areas, such as:
- Sales
- Service Delivery
- Accounting
- Supply Chain
- Talent
- Quality
- Health and Safety
- IT (Information Technology)
- Finance
- Legal
- People (People Management)
- Relations
- Marketing
- Infrastructure
Each of us plays an important role. We work together to achieve our goals.
3. How to play well?
- Example 1:
If you work in Sales, your role is to ensure that clients sign contracts and that sales are always on the rise. This means more revenue for the company and more growth opportunities for everyone.
- Example 2:
If you are in Service Delivery, your job is to ensure that services are delivered with quality and on time, so that our customers are happy
- Example 3:
If you're in accounting, you have to make sure that the money comes in at the right time. Without it, the company cannot invest in its employees and continue to grow.
4. What were the worst moves ?
- Delaying deliveries or failing to meet deadlines leads to customer dissatisfaction.
- Wasting resources, such as time or materials, undermines our efficiency.
- Failing to collect what is owed or taking too long to receive payment can damage the entire company.
These would be the “moves” that could lose us the game.
5. How do we know if we're winning or losing?
- If we manage to get all the money: It's our right and if we do it on time, we're winning.
- If our customers and partners are happy: We're playing well.
- Whether we are using our resources efficiently: We're getting it right.
Conclusion:
In the end, if we are all satisfied with our work and have achieved the financial and social results we are looking for, then we are winning the game.
Let's test our understanding!
